The Ripple Effect

"What began as a fun night of bingo has created a ripple effect that continues to touch many people and organizations."

 

I was fortunate enough to win several beautiful purses at the Armory's Purse Bingo event, and I wanted to share how they are continuing to make a difference in our community:

• Fighting Cancer: A Kate Spade bag helped our Pink Ladies Relay for Life Team raise over $600 for the American Cancer Society.

• Empowering Women: Another purse is being used as an incentive prize to encourage growth and achievement for my local Mary Kay team.

• Supporting Grants: A third purse is earmarked for a Silent Auction benefiting the Mary Kay Ash Foundation, which supports women's cancers and domestic violence prevention.

• A Personal Keepsake: I kept one as a reminder of a delightful evening and the generosity that inspired so much good.

 

Thank you for all you do to bring people together through arts, entertainment, and community events. The Armory is a wonderful asset to Park Rapids, and I'm grateful for the role you play in making our community stronger and more connected."
