Discover the beauty of creating art one piece at a time. In this hands-on workshop, you'll design and assemble a unique wooden mosaic using carefully cut wood shapes, exploring pattern, texture, and composition to create a finished piece ready to display.

Mosaic art dates back thousands of years to ancient Mesopotamia, Greece, and Rome, where artisans crafted intricate images from stone, glass, and ceramic. Wooden mosaics offer a contemporary interpretation of this timeless art form, celebrating the natural beauty and character of wood.

Please bring a pair of hand pruners (garden pruners) for trimming wooden pieces. All other materials are provided.

To achieve the best finish, this workshop includes a one-hour follow-up session the following week. Participants will take their mosaics home to complete any remaining work and sand their pieces at their own pace.
